Agent connection

Connect an AI assistant to Locarium

Once connected, an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude can look up your offices, floors and resources, read your bookings, and book or cancel on your behalf. It signs in as you, so it only ever sees what your own Locarium account can see.

Connect your assistant

ChatGPT

  1. Open Apps and connectors, advanced settings and turn on developer mode. Read the risk notice ChatGPT shows there. If developer mode is not available, ask whoever administers your ChatGPT workspace to switch it on.
  2. Open the new plugin dialog.
  3. Type Locarium as the name and paste the server address above into the URL field.
  4. Check the details, tick "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows that warning for every custom server, not only this one), then choose Create.
  5. Turn Locarium on from the chat composer, sign in when prompted, then ask ChatGPT to use it: for example, "Ask Locarium which desks are free in London tomorrow".

Claude

  1. Open Claude with the Locarium details filled in
  2. Check the details and choose Add.
  3. If the prefilled form does not open, go to Connectors in Claude's settings, choose "Add custom connector", name it Locarium and paste the server address above.
  4. Turn the connector on from the chat composer, sign in when prompted, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http locarium 'https://www.locarium.app/mcp'
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Locarium is connected. Sign in from that menu when it asks.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use Locarium.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote server connection.
  3. Name it Locarium and paste the server address above.
  4. Finish any sign in or authorisation prompts.
  5. Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant to use Locarium.

Refresh after we ship changes

Assistants remember what Locarium could do at the moment they connected. When we add or change what Locarium offers, refresh the connection so your assistant picks it up.

ChatGPT

  1. Open the Plugins page in ChatGPT settings and select Locarium.
  2. Scroll to Information and choose Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT cannot change an existing address: if the address above has changed, delete Locarium from Plugins and follow the connect steps again.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Locarium.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Locarium.
  2. Refresh or update the connector.
  3. Claude cannot change an existing address: if the address above has changed, remove the connector and follow the connect steps again.
  4. Ask Claude to use Locarium.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session; it loads the latest version on connecting.
  2. If the address has changed, run claude mcp remove locarium, then run the install command above again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Locarium.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for Locarium.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server or reconnect it.
  4. If the address has changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use Locarium.
